So when will Cindy Adams report that they’ve bought a house in Highland Park, near one of the snow-capped peaks that dominate the skyline?

Cindy Adams description of Preston Hollow made the locale sound more like a Tampax commercial of yore than a place you’d move to.
“You can play tennis, swim, hike…”

Is it really a “scoop” if you publicly ponder where the Bushes “are GOING to buy” for 60 days after it already closed ? Sounds like the only credit she should get for her amazing “sleuthing” is having someone tip her off. By the way, her first “scoop” originally suggested it was the house next door. She got that wrong too.

Best line of the DMN story -
“Their lease at 1600 Pennsylvania Ave. runs out in 47 days.”
LOL

Preston Hollow will become a Tampax commercial but not in the way Bethany describes. I can just imagine all the black people in Preston Hollow thinking…there goes the neighborhood.

Glenn. No that is just another one of your right wing looney wet dreams. You know where you dream on illegal wars.
What would be a real scoop is to hear Candace chat about the sling room they are building in the basement.

I thought W and Laura loved Crawford and its good ole common folk?
Why would they need a house in Dallas, unless the whole Crawford Ranch thing was just a photo op? No, the press isn’t that gullible.

Grump
Those shots of Bush out at the “ranch” always reminded me of looking at a Hustler pictoral…only more fake.

Grumpy, some folks have a house in the country as well as a city residence.

Sadly, they seem to have rewritten and dumped any attribution….. the bums….

They quoted my cousin (Christine Tomasides) in that story. Does that make me fancy because my family will soon be neighbors with Dubya?

FrontBurner® launched in March 2003, the first blog in Dallas run by a media organization. This is where the editors of D Magazine come to waste a tremendous amount of time.
