A ton of people have been wondering how everything shook out. This is pretty much it, verbatim.
If you’re thinking I’m making light of the situation, you’re wrong. I just don’t process emotion in a rational or remotely productive way. Also: I love you all.
Was the implosion video taken here in Dallas? If I’m not mistaken that looks like The Richards Group building in the background. And Campbell Center behind that.
Yep, Gadfly, that was the nondescript office midrise imploded a couple of years ago to make way for the $87-billion, live-work-play-love-even-swim-in-it Park Lane Place. Guaranteed to make you 10 years younger.
If you guys would have listened to giant turkey sub, Black Monday would never have happened.
That was taken in Dallas. The view is from Al’s looking across the street.
@ Obama: that’s not nice.
Sometimes karma is not a bitch.
Sometimes karma is just karma.
Why isn’t the Park Cities People blog back up yet? Is somebody holding hostages over there?
It’s up. Clear your cache.
Correct me if I’m wrong, but is that Lincoln Center (635/Tollway) shooting East in the opening scene of the clip?
Good point. Old media is dying.
That means left wing media is about to go
as well. Muh-ha-ha-ha!
Hey Zac- How bout they play a video when you get laid off? You probably won’t think it’s very funny then, huh? Don’t be so cold to your ex co-workers.
Zac…on days when you have just s-canned 19% of your work force, it ain’t about you buddy.
Blackmail, mostly. And because I’ve learned to take constructive criticism from Prince.
Zac, as one of the individuals who got laid off on Black Friday, if that’s what we’re calling it, I think this sucks. It was funny to watch on SNL, but not funny when I know that you’re sitting pretty in your office while I spend my days looking for a new job, praying that my remaining commissions will get me through the Holidays.
