Dallas Earthquake!

Forgive us for not yet mentioning the earthquake and aftershocks that hit the Dallas-Fort Worth area last night. I’m still not convinced it’s not part of some new, Halloween Fools’ Day tradition. Or… [dum dum dum] is it Barnett Shale related?

  2. A series of small earthquakes shook Denver in the 1960s. Because quakes were very rare there, geologists went looking for a cause. They found it in deep-well drilling at Rocky Mountain Arsenal just northeast of the city.

  6. Earthquake hit the Cowboys during their training camp, and look at them this year. I predict the Metroplex itself will go 8-8 and miss the municipality playoffs.

  7. UT’s geology department thinks that oil and gas pumping has been causing earthquakes in south Texas.
