I’m only a press observer, but its a sad day for journalism when a high school football beat writer gets canned. Not that the DMN HS sports coverage was all that great past the big schools, but I thought David Hinojosa covered the exurban schools decently. Hopefully some editor for a real Texas newspaper will pick him up.
