He’s working for the Ticket, so I figured he had to be set financially (see salary, Greggo’s former).
And granted, his MVP performance was in a later Super Bowl, but selling your ring? I sincerely hope he’s doing OK.

You don’t give up your Super Bowl ring unless you’re hurting for some cash!!! This makes me a little sad. Well, he does work for The Ticket- but that’s just doing pre-game duty for the Cowboys. So he basically works for The Ticket about 20 days out of the year. Best wishes Larry!!!
The fine print on the eBay ad says it was purchased in December 2003, so perhaps he WAS having financial problems five years ago. Perhaps he’s in a position now to buy it back.
Larry has had a lot of money problems over the years and either still is in or very recently came out of a bankruptcy proceeding. It’s really too bad given everything else he’s gone through.

I was the winning bidder - To the best of my knowledge, this ring was sold back in 2003 for charity reasons, larry brown - kept the other rings and was bought a private collector, same collector that sold it on ebay. IT IS REAL - I have all the paper trail and the Letter of Authuization from Larry Brown and that documentation showing it was sold by Mastro….which is known for selling sport items of all kind. I am fortunate to have this ring and will cherish it for a long time - I only hope to meet with Larry Brown some day, I am a true Dallas Cowboy Fan (thru the good times and the bad) - any questions or comments are welcome - email is folksnrml@aol.com
