Jenna Fischer has revealed the name of her new beau. He is Lee Kirk, a writer who is originially from Dallas. Or so says People. Fanboys collectively sigh. As the article also points out, co-star Angela Kinsey is from Texas — went to Baylor with a friend of mine. And as I think I’ve pointed out before (namedrop alert) co-star Brian Baumgartner went to SMU and lived in Letterman Hall his first year there, as did a certain Dallas writer (that one is me).

Ah yes, Letterman Hall…that brings back fond memories from my freshman year at SMU (going back to 1996!). It was the freshman arts dorm back then, so we were waaaay better than those silly fellows living in Boaz. Living next door to the SAE house was a trip. Was so sad to see the whole thing go up in a great cloud of demolition smoke, only to re-emerge as a multi-level parking garage. Sigh.
I went to high school at JJ Pearce with Lee’s sister. I remember him as Jenna said – super cute and extremely nice.
I just googled Lee Kirk — please tell me it’s not this guy.
