  3. Jamie gets kudos for the line from “The Kingdom” when he mentions Terrell, TX (his hometown), lack of news coverage there, and good BBQ to be had there. I’m sure he insisted on working that into the script.

  4. He has *always* been a Cowboys fan. When Jamie (then known as Eric Bishop) played quarterback for the Terrell HS Tigers, he wore a No. 12 jersey in emulation of his QB hero, Roger Staubach.
