American Airlines Misplaces Corpse

Ask yourself: self, how much would I need to be paid to be AA’s spokesperson and field questions on this little mishap. I’ll turn the comments on for Tim Wagner.

  1. Tim had a “no-comment comment” yesterday on Unfair Park: http://blogs.dallasobserver.com/unfairpark/2008/09/off_corpse_or_american_airline.php

  5. OK, it’s fixed. Maybe have time for one more “filed” joke if you hurry.

  10. Somehow, life has chosen to imitate one of the few bright spots in my (mostly) horrible filmography. Hooray AA for making me relevant again, if only for a fleeting moment.

  11. American probably just enjoyed having a customer that wasn’t complaining.

  12. Does this mean that, if you choose to fly American, you might actually be late for your own funeral?

  13. What the story doesn’t tell you is that the people who put the body on the plane didn’t pay the $35 “first checked corpse” fee.

So really, it’s not AA’s fault.
