If you’ve got room for one more bookmark in your Web browser, might I suggest UmbrellaToday.com. It tells you if you need an umbrella today. (75219 is “yes.”) Harold Taft would be proud of its simplicity. Or disgusted.

    Gawd bless Harold Taft and his rock ‘n’ roll heart. I grew up in East Fort Worth in the early 70’s and nearly peed myself the day he showed one of my little kiddie drawings on the air. Mr. Taft indeed had a sense of humor – and would’ve gotten a good giggle out of this site, I’ll bet.

    Anybody else remember those hilarious pre-greenscreen graphics, or that little paperback ‘Texas Weather’ that Channel 5 used to hawk on the air? Talk about total weather porn!
