Chip’s Old Fashioned Hamburgers on Cole is Closing

Landlord wants more money. Lots more. Would somebody in commercial real estate please e-mail me? There are lots of things I do not understand.

UPDATE: Chip’s on Cole will close on September 30th.

Maybe they will now reduce the prices on their good but very overpriced burgers.

Everything that was great when I lived in Knox-Henderson is closing. This location is better than the one on Lovers.

I hope that whomever builds retail space closeby and needs a restaurant calls the owner’s of Chip’s. Hint: somebody call Steve Shafer about the corner of Knox & Cole..maybe they can go in the first floor.

Who’s next to close? Wild About Harry’s?

Do you dare name the landlord? Maybe we could organize a protest in favor of the status quo?

Do they serve vodka at that location? I have a hard time trying to find interest in eateries that don’t cater to my alcoholism when I can get a burger at Village Burger and Jakes which do cater to my needs.

@ DK in FW..take a look at the SideDish comments..the entity is named, as well as the VP, and an address is given..

Maybe the recently closed Ball’s Hamburgers from Snyder Plaza could take this space.

Maybe Chip’s and Ball’s could merge and be called….
