The DMN scribe is in Denver and takes a shot across Eric’s (now thinner) bow. I just hung up with Eric, who needed guidance on how best to report on the activities of last night. Small tease: he says several people told him the party last night was the best yet in Denver — in large part, perhaps, because of the efforts of Elizabeth Lavin. Eric, I have not yet seen a photo of you that confirms you are actually in Denver. I hate to begin any rumors (then again why not) but perhaps Santa Fe is not bad this time of year–a great place to watch the convention? New Orleans? Reykjavik?
Maybe there is a cash Hold ‘Em game going on where Eric could win some credentials?
Now that I think about it, is Pete Sessions there? I’m sure he would be up for a little head-to-head game.
