It was not a great quarter for Heelys, the maker of shoes with wheels in the heels and the stock price dropped 75 percent as a result. But, an analyst points out that the new management has stabilized the company. Not sure why he didn’t say, “New management is working to get Heelys on firm footing.” I mean, isn’t that what you’re supposed to do with dry finance stories? Make any pun within reach? Kick around some ideas?
Maybe the new management just wants to “roll with it” and see what they run into.
“New management is working to keep the wheels from falling off” ?
New Managment just needs to get in step with the way the economy is running now. If they don’t, the competition is likley to get a toehold in the market and before they know it, the shoe will be on the other foot.
very punny
Certainly, they want to put their best foot forward here and keep this company rolling.
5 hours late to a pun thread, dammit.
“New Management has brought in a medicine woman to help read the Heelys.”
