come on….take care of your business…..I’m just a spare guy but I’m scared of those boys in blue. You’re my neighbor dude and I’d like to have a regular guy in the mayor’s office but you gotta take care of the basics…potholes and inspection stickers!

dude, i’m just speaking as a guy that’s had way too many parking/traffic violations over the years and spent way too much time, money, and effort getting things in order

including a very similar scenario to what you had…about a year ago, i took a court date for a moving violation here in Dallas, only to have it rain that day and two judges decide not to come in and, well, let’s just say folks in line at the courthouse got a little upset, i was able to find a competent employee and simply got another court date

i think you can expect to see your date rescheduled but you have to stay on them and make sure, which is the really pain in the ass part

easiest solution – keep registration, inspection up to date

i know, i know, bills are a real pain in the ass and all, especially the ones with the deadlines, but just saying a little preventive maintenance goes a long way

Who knows when you’ll have to go back, but I had to do a similar deal and didn’t even have to pay because the cop didn’t show up. It was completely dismissed without a fine.

I would think Cathy or Dilbert is far more apropos.

I would go by tomorrow. There will probably be many people like you and it will be chaos but they will most likely be handing out some sort of information about rescheduling court dates. Godspeed.
