Drake Dudley, 14, Could Beat Me Up Handily
I managed to catch a little bit of ESPN’s Outside the Lines yesterday morning, about kids and Mixed Martial Arts. One such kid happens to live in the area: Flower Mound’s Drake “Ultimate” Dudley. As this article-version of the story states, Dudley started competing in jiu-jitsu when he was 7 and he’s been fighting in MMA ever since. His dad even sent him to Brasil to train. You can watch loads of YouTube clips of Dudley at work here. And, if you think the ESPN story was biased (it didn’t seem that way to me, but what do I know, other than the fact that Kimbo Slice got lucky in his primetime match), you can hear Dudley and his dad’s thoughts here.
