“In a world where liberals run amok and conservatives don’t speak Latin, where guns are regulated but schools are not, where oil prices are too high and skirts are too short, where Wall-E is too deep and our oil reserves too shallow, the time has come … for THESE GUYS. That’s right, buy your books and take them down into your hidey-hole, because the dynamic duo of Rod Dreher and Trey Garrison (and a few others) are leading the DMN’s Points Summer Book Club. And this time, it’s personal. And, most likely, cocked and loaded.”
Heh…Eric said ****ed.
Is “The Long Emergency” another book about the oncoming war against the zombies?
The evolution of the Dallas Morning News editorial page into the Crunchy Morning News Page has been a wonder to behold. One can read every opinion they will ever hold a day or two earlier on Dreher’s personal blog, neither Liberal nor Conservative but juuuusst right, and always credulous. The next big thing will be the suggestion that we can each store our own very own Tactical Petroleum Reserves, local and organic, in our very own residential urban rain barrels.
Meanwhile, while all true Conservatives remain on the lookout for Mike Hashimoto’s testicles, we laud, because who doesn’t laud, Keven Willey’s latest Botox presentation in her recent newspaper photo, because in these troubled journalism times a girl can no longer just rely on birdwatching for a career. Smokin’ hot, Keven Ann, not a bit like Joan Rivers.

Can you arrange a crane to lift us up on our
pedestals?
I am sooo there.
I assume it is B.Y.O.Beard.
It sounds so Hollywood, Rod Garrison, Trey Dreher..
I imagine they’re both pretty good guys, politics aside.
