I was in Denver this weekend. Brandon is correct that the relocation will only be HQ operations (about 100 people). One of the interesting things about the JV is that Coors Light will be brewed in all of the Miller plants (including Ft. Worth) in addition to the Golden Facility (Miller beers will also be brewed at Coors plants). So Coors Light will no longer be able to advertise that it’s made with Rocky Mountain water. Coors Original will still only be brewed in Golden Colorado.

Definitely won’t have a brewery. MillerCoors is simply a joint venture between the 2 companies in order to better distribute and promote their brands so they can take a larger chunk out of AB.

Word is there won’t be a brewery — this HQ would be strictly for paper shuffling. They’re still brewing Miller Beer in Fort Worth, though.

i love how beer sites have “age verification” pages, just cracks me up, man, i entered Dec. 25, 1901 just for the hell of it

and don’t forget about the US Bowling Congress or whatever its called moving down to Arlington from somewhere in the Midwest
