Don’t be philistine, Billusa99. Rod’s subtle intellectual insight in designating those “Crunchy Cons” he then promotes like P. T. Barnum has inspired me to establish an ideologically distinct charismatic cult following of my own, namely those that read from left to right but nod up and down slightly while doing so.

I’m still working on a catchy marketing name, but once I nail it, it’s goodbye day job, hello Oprah, Amazon.com, and Half Price Books.

Queequeg… Don’t you understand that calling Rod out on his obvious condescension towards others, via print, is like tilting at windmills? All you get is a hard wind back atcha, totally devoid of substance. But, it makes HIM feel good and righteous and smarter than you.

Rod and his constant condescending attitude toward the average reader are why many people dislike the Dallas Morning News.
