Nice post on NYTimes blog from Milt about how proud he was to be named to the AL team, and to be an American. Not kidding. But the ‘Gers lose. Bummer.

Geeeeeezus, let’s not use ‘Gers. It is a pukey as “Stangs.”

Sure, why not? What better place for an a–hole to be than Yankees Stadium anyway?

I think Milton Bradley has been nothing but positive for the Rangers. I’m glad to see him on the All-Star team and happy that he will be able to start.

Go ‘Gers! I’m glad somebody finally took the initiative to shorten their name. It was getting pretty exhausting saying the full word “Rangers” all the time. Thanks, Eric. You, sir, are a true public servant.

fyi: using ‘Gers in certain parts of the U.K. (i.e. Ireland and the “wrong” side of Glasgow) will get you popped upside the head with an empty bottle.
