please please please forgive me! I just got off my first united flight and it’s was a total nightmare. 100% Not impressed. I’m eating my words now. I only hope, “for the record” will see this. Please forgive me.

Well, I’ve had it with all those rotten ol’ b**** at AA (sorry, not you..I don’t know you) but I used to fly so much, I can’t remember the last time I’ve flown into DFW and was able to pull right up to the gate. Now every time you have to wait 20+ mins for a gate, when you parked right in front of it. I’m always like, “Hello…where you not expecting us?” I figure since United is in one terminal, I’ll always take out of and return to the same terminal. I heard their food is better and they without fail give “pre-flight” drinks in first. I’m big on that one. I’ve been Plt. on AA for years and it’s time to see what else is out there. Now, I may be back, but everyone else is goanna have to suck REAL bad.

Don’t fly on United! That’s just silly. If you’re going to let anybody abuse your body, mind, and wallet, you should at least keep your money here. In Chicago they’ll just spend it on tofu “foie gras” and hot dogs with all sorts of grotesqueries on top. These are the guys whose post-bankruptcy business plan was based on $50 oil – and it was already $55 at the time. My proposed new slogan – “We’re not perfect, but we’re not United.” Huh, whadya say?

I’m trying United in two weeks for the first time. Any thoughts from anyone on that airline. I just signed up for their F.Flyer program.

Yeah, as a spokesman, there’s so much to be thanklessly explaining for the last few months, and every day those hits just keep on a-comin’. (For The Record swallows his AA cynicism long enough for a properly manly, group hug; dissolve to happy kids skipping down the sidewalk, sounds of cheery elevator music, etc.)
