Moore Leaves Business Weekly, Joins D Empire

Drumroll, please: Former Dallas Business Journal staffer Dave Moore has joined D CEO magazine as senior editor. That means he’ll be appearing in this space from time to time starting tomorrow (if he survives the party we sent him to tonight, that is). Besides being a great journalist and a good guy, Dave’s the lesser half of a media power couple (his wife, Holly Hacker, covers education for the DMN) as well as an aficionado of Stroh’s beer, doo-wop music and Nicaraguan cigars. Also, interestingly, word has it he’s not the only reporter who exited the DBJ this week.

Does this mean his first assignment will be finding the top 10 cutest CEOs in Dallas?

You know, DFWPotentate, that ain’t a bad idea.
