Jerry World Officially Enters Race to Host Final Four

The new Cowboys Stadium is one of 10 sites to formally bid for one of the NCAA men’s Final Fours up for grabs between 2012 and 2016. Winners will be announced in November. I’m going to go ahead and say Arlington gets the 2013 Final Four. Don’t bet against me.

  1. Just as they attempted to trump the A&M/Arkansas game with an announcement of their own major football matchup, the Cotton Bowl wants it to be known they will also host a major basketball game, between the 1978-79 Krum Bobcats and the imaginary Flint Tropics.

  2. Yo, Zac, how much ya got? I’ll take the bet.
    The 2013 Final Four will celebrate the 75th anniversary of the event. The smart money (like mine) will be on Indianapolis (home of NCAA HQ and a Final Four hosting fave) hosting the 2013 Final Four.
    My retirement fund awaits a boost.
