1. The city council’s Economic Development Committee could pick a developer for our convention center hotel today and begin negotiations. I hope they all stayed in a Holiday Inn Express last night to get ready.
2. Oliver Peck of Elm Street Tattoo officially made it into the Guinness Book of World Records this weekend by tattooing 415 people in 24 hours. I’m still waiting to have my own record certified. I can’t help that no one was around when I ate all those old batteries.
3. I feel kind of stupid, but when did they ban cellphones in Dallas school zones? I guess I was just too busy watching the smoking ban.
