Romo Tops U.S. Open Challenge

Since the boys are otherwise disposed, I’ve taken it upon myself to track the golf greatness of Tony Romo (playing with Matt Lauer, Justin Timberlake, and non-celeb John Atkinson to prove Tiger Woods wrong that a 10-handicap amateur golfer couldn’t break 100 on a U.S. Open course). Romo’s technique has been described as “good looking,” “firm,” and “solid.” It was also noted that he was “releasing down at the bottom, but he’s playing for birdie—not bad.” I like this game!

I most appreciate the dudes in the gallery wearing No. 9 jerseys. Makes me feel just a tad bit less silly when I break mine out on gamedays.

Sorry Stacey, but I have it from a trustworthy source that Romo’s 9-iron is a myth.
