The Polyphonic Spree is, For Once, Not Terribly Happy

The Polyphonic Spree’s record label, TVT Records, filed for Chapter 11 reorganization earlier this year. And, under the auspices of that reorganization, TVT is planning on selling off its assets, including recording contracts. Not so fast, says the Spree. They’ve filed a legal objection, which you can read here.

    I’d love to see all of the band members show up in a small courtroom, packed to the gills. And they’d have some fashion solidarity with the judge thanks to the robes.

    The Polyphonic Spree is so great. Check out their performance of “When A Fool Becomes a King” at Voodoo 2004. A lot of great videos from the past ten years of voodoo have just been posted at http://www.thetenthritual.com/?content=video
