Honeymoon in Vegas: Part 2(ish)

This photo-less update from Tim just showed up in my inbox:

As day two of the tournament dawns, there are 136 players still in it
(down from a starting field of 1,344). One of those players still
going is a man from Dallas by the name of Eric Celeste. He has an
above-average stack and needs to get to 99 players to finish in the
money.

Me? Well T Boone Pickens, in describing his self-discipline, likes to
brag that while he’s been drunk before, he’s never been drunk two
nights in a row. Let’s just say that I’m no T Boone Pickens.

Can’t say I’m terribly surprised on either count. If you want a little more detail–mostly just about cards–it’s waiting for you here. (Mild language warning, as always.)

FrontBurner® has been called the best blog in town (recently, and repeatedly), a snarky celebration of ignorance, and a daily conversation about Dallas among the editors of D Magazine.
