Too hot for fire pits. They had those things buring 3 weeks ago and it was a NIGHTMARE. If they put out some ice blocks, they would get more votes.

Jimmy’s is a classic Dallas institution owned and run by second or third generation East Dallasites. How rare is that? So Jimmy’s gets my vote.

Lee Harvey’s is an arriviste. A very cool one but with a name that is still painful and not yet that ironic humor to some of us.

However, that’s not going to stop me from taking the dog and having a beer next to the fire pits!

Nothing against Lee Harvey’s, but Jimmy’s has the best Cuban sandwiches in DFW (call ahead though).
