Well, That Was Quick: New Tahiti Single

Just about a week ago we were (or I guess just I was) talking about the breakup of local hip-hop trio PPT. Hot on the heels of that is this: “Next 2 Me,” a new solo single by group member Tahiti that also features his erstwhile PPT band mate Pikahsso. It’s up on iTunes if you want it. And there’s a video, too.

  3. Whoa, that sucked harder than a hard workin’ Cesar Chavez Blvd. female pedestrian substance abuser. Channeling “Flight of the Conchords”, Urkel, Milli Vanilli, a touch of SNL-era Eddie Murphy plus home-quality video was trippy.

  4. I liked it and I “don’t like hip-hop.” Made me realize I should listen to more — but then, I already knew that. But I’ve got Zac beat by a mile when it comes to crusty curmudgeonliness, so I’ll bitterly cling to my opinion as if my very dignity depended on it.

    I now don’t like hip-hop except Tahiti.

And the Disposable Heroes of Hiphoprysy. They’re pretty cool.
