Don’t forget, kids. First-round voting to determine “The Best Thing in Dallas” ends today at 5. Next week, we’ll begin voting in the second round, with 32 contenders. Me, I’m keeping my eye today on The Ticket (1310 AM) vs. The Arboretum. When I saw that Adam had included The Ticket in the contest, I figured the station’s listeners would rally behind it and win the entire contest. But you know what? Right now, the Arboretum has a pretty healthy lead. (P.S. To those who’ve complained about the cumbersome voting process, Adam and his team are working on a solution for round two.)
