There is a huge arms race of sorts to get street level photos like Google's "street view". I have seen Yahoo, Microsoft and some other no-name companies doing street level photography in Dallas this spring. I have seen a preview of the MSN street view stuff and it is much clearer than Google. 3x or so. Might not be Google.
