Remembering Paul Kix
Long-suffering FrontBurnervians will remember Paul Kix, aka Tall Paul. He left D Magazine last fall to go work at Boston magazine. To those who knew him, Paul always seemed tall for his age, yes, but also rather mature for his age. The guy was 23 when he worked here but acted more like 43. So maybe it’s no surprise that he’s written this nostalgic piece for Salon.com about how the hip-hop ain’t as it as it used to be, back in the day. Given that Paul’s involved, it also should come as no surprise that there’s a grammatical error in the headline of the story.
