Todd: G’day mate!
2:27 PM me: So I hear you’re leaving G’Day. I hear this from you. Is it true?
Todd: Yeah, unfortunately, I will be leaving at the end of the month.
2:28 PM me: “Unfortunately”? Does this have something to do with our undying lust for Megan Henderson?
YOUR. Your lust.
But maybe that was Freudian.
2:29 PM Todd: Ha! I love Megan ( who doesn’t) but no, this has nothing to do with her and more to do with me getting a normal 9-5 job.
me: Sissy.
So what’s your new gig?
2:31 PM Todd: Let me back up and say that I love Fox 4 and G’day and Megan but my Team Traffic gig never developed past the point of being a part-time job so I was working another job from 9 to 5.
2:33 PM So that would make my day from 5a to 5p. After 4 years, that makes Team Traffic Todd a tired boy. I am going to help put together a multimedia department for a company in Irving that works with trade shows and exhibits.
me: Wow, that’s a beating of a schedule. But “a multimedia department for a company in Irving that works with trade shows and exhibits”?

2:34 PM I guess it could be worse. You could be going to work at Channel 8.
Todd: No, it’s glorious. I will get to stay up late (till almost midnight!) and get up late (7am!) and maybe even attend a D magazine function now and then.

Todd: Actually I was thinking Team Gridlock Buster.

I’ll miss his dancing
The beginning of the end of Chan 4’s morning domination. Tim, Evan and Chip are great and no one is irreplaceable, (except Megan.) I’ll bet the morale at Chan 4’s got to be like, well, Chan 5 and waiting for Susan Tulley to tell you how bad you are on the news and it’s time to do something else. The only thing worse that could happen to Chan 4 would be to bring Rebeca Agu-liar back. Thanks for the times you’ve given us Todd and Megan. You’ve been a joy to have in the market.
This makes me a saaaaad panda. My mornings will never be the same. On the upside, does this mean you can do fill-ins for radio people again? I know a couple of reporters that need some time off really badly…
