Spoiler alert: the guy doesn’t jump. But this video clip, without narration, is oddly powerful. I wonder what the DMN would have done with the video if the guy had gone over the edge.

I refuse to watch the video, so I’m commenting without benefit of how tastefully (or not) the video was done. My wife called me sobbing hysterically because she was so shaken up by the site of this poor man hanging off the bridge. She also couldn’t help notice the man on the grassy knoll and was equally upset that he felt he had to video the incident. We live in a sad, sick society.

I’d much rather watch the video of skimpy-dressed-prom-girl in handcuffs. In fact, I think I own a similarly-titled DVD.

sad, sick and barely clothed, and i for one love it all. yes, i am an A-Hole that revels in other’s misery. hence my fantasy baseball/football team name: Sweet Schandfruede

that’s also why i love watching America’s Next Top Model/flavor of love etc. i love vicariously and voyeuristically watching people on the verge of nervous breakdown

I submit that the above five comments are what make FrontBurner worth a visit every day. I’m being sincere about this.

I chuckled. Then I had to think and re-examine why I’d posted a link to the video. Then I chuckled again. And then I laughed so hard that Eric and Zac both came into my office to see what the fuss was about.

Police said the man was accused of fatally beating his ex-wife earlier in the day at her office in Dallas.

I hope the think that if the ex-wife was still alive, she would have given him a little push.

The video is far more effective when you have Van Halen’s “Jump” playing on your iTunes browser at the same time.

The murder that this coward committed happened in my building less than 40 feet from my office. I only wish I would have arrived 30 minutes sooner that Monday morning as he lied in wait to ambush her at the top of our staicase. Pathetic, evil, and utterly sick.
