1. I always thought that, at some point, David Jacobs–the Plano man nabbed for running an international steroids ring–would give up a bigger name than former Cowboys lineman Matt Lehr. Maybe that’s still TK, but Jacobs is being sentenced later today, so he’s probably played most of his cards at this point.
2. Channel 11’s investigation into the North Texas Tollway Authority’s spending habits (they like catered meals and Christmas parties, apparently) is probably a big deal. I just think Bennett Cunningham needs to step his game up. I mean, by the 25th time you say “GOTCHA!” in a story, it starts to lose a little impact. But way to give Texans for Fiscal Responsibility’s Michael Sullivan the opportunity to deliver sweet burns like, “That’s the only culture that I have seen changed–that they are going for a different flavor of food.”
