I think the real complaints should land at the hotel, though. I'm sure they've gotten their share of them over the years, but the fact that they continue to allow college kids to grace the halls must mean, in the end, even with other pissed off guests and pissed on floors, it's good for business. Don't get me wrong, though. The University (like most universities) has a real issue on their hands here. Let's start with calling a spade a spade - today's online article at The Daily Campus shows a picture of the InterContinental Hotel in North Dallas and reports that it was the Phi Delt annual Casino party, which has been going on for years. And I'm pretty sure the lewd conduct is nothing new. In a related story online today, The Daily Campus points to various incidents at the SAE house (date rape, drug use, you standard college fraternity fare?) and how nothing more ever happens than a slap on the wrist b/c of some wealthy alums on the Board of Trustees.
