The Texas Monthly editor queries the DMN publisher on circulation, discounted copies, web traffic, and more here. Interestingly, while circ is down (as planned), Jim says the latest Scarborough study shows readership is up .6% in the four-county Dallas area.

    “readership” is up…wonder what that includes? And compared to when? And so many other questions when dealing with slippery statistics.

    If readership is up, wonder why they’re giving notice of another increase in subscription rates? Strange that the smaller the paper gets, the more prices rise.
