NorthPark Crime Reports To Increase By At Least One

In the May issue of D, Trey Garrison wrote a short piece about the rising crime rate at NorthPark, anecdotally kicked off by the tale of Jody Dean’s stolen pickup. How prophetic we turned out to be. Just yesterday morning, according to multiple sources, Eiseman Jewelers was broken into. No reports (yet) on what or how much was taken.

It seems like Trey would be chest-thumping over this. Why didn’t he post it? In fact, FrontBurner has been suspiciously Trey-free for the past few days. What gives?

I’d lay a wager that Trey is off on assignment in El Dorado for a story on the Zion thing. Just speculatin’.

What jewelry? They put every piece of jewelry in the safe at night and bring them out every morning before they open.

Many years ago D compared crime at Fair Park and North Park and North Park was more dangerous. How about some more iconoclastic information?
