Did you know that Melisa Christian has sacrificed many things to maximize her genetic potential as an athlete? The great thing is, she has never listened to the critique of anyone but herself. The only thing that motivates this woman is her drive to be the best she can everyday, as a person and a competitor. I know how frustrating it must be that someone who basically just picked up running as a hobby (WHILE SHE WAS BECOMING A DENTIST)can be running with some of the best in the world in such a short period of time (AS SHE COACHES OTHERS TO RUN AS WELL). ONE THING I CAN ASSURE YOU OF, IS THAT THERE IS NOTHING "AVERAGE" ABOUT DR. CHRISTIAN! Oh yea...she's a pretty good runner too!....moron!
