J.Lo Is New NBC Weathermeteorpersonologist

Ed Bark reports that the outgoing and out-going Rebecca Miller has been replaced. NBC5 has hired meteorologist Jennifer Lopez, an eight-year veteran from The Weather Channel. And, yes, she’s heard about the “J.Lo” name coinky-dink a’plenty.

    KEWL! I’ve been an admirer for years. Now I have a reason to watch Chan 5. And now we can go from “no personality” personalities like Jane and Mike to a real person, with some character. And hey, she’s got a “normal weather person name.” Of course, we probably won’t be able to see her with the “no matter how good the news is it’s still monotone” duo, as Fin-frock and Ate-a-lot seem to have those time blocks cornered. What a shame. We can always hope though. Welcome to Dallas Jenn. We’re glad to have you here.
