Actually, the story from the DMN is non-specific as to the gender of the victim, but the headline identifies the victim as a man.
According to Grand Prairie po-po, victim was a female.
Looks like the DMN updated its cab driver story.
DMN story on the fallen tree ends with: “While the boy suffered some bumps to the head and possibly a broke leg, doctors said he will be okay.”
A broke leg? Where did this tree fall, the Old West?
Actually, the boy pinned under the tree doesn’t live there, so I expect it might be a little more painful for the landlord than just paying for a new place to live.
After all, sounds like the cameras are doing what they’re supposed to do.

Broke leg? Thought it was broken. My son suffered a “broken” leg when he was 5 (I was an unfit mother) and went on to wrestle and play football.
