Okay, Reality Check

The whole green movement/global warming fantasy was pretty cute and harmless at first — like Scientology or Intelligent Design, I guess — but this has gone too far. Enough, already.

“Beer prices are a very emotional issue in Germany — people expect it to be as inexpensive as other basic staples like eggs, bread and milk,”

-Sort of like Americans and gasoline prices…

  • jenny

Trey, are you being sarcastic or do you really believe that global warming is a non-issue?

    -Fixed.

    Your welcome

Ethanol is the WORST. I don’t even understand why kooky environmentalists like this crap. Its bad for cars. Farmers are now growing non edible corn all over the world, even in starving nations, instead of real food, thus leading to higher grocery prices on ALL agricultural products for rich and poor, including hops and beer. Once more, Ethanol cannot be shipped through existing piplines which means it has to be manually transported by rail or truck (defeating the whole purpose). Just a stupid stupid idea even if you believe in Global Warming. When will these nutjobs realize that the whole environmental movement is not about “The Earth” anymore and all about money. From the companies that make GPS ocean thermometers, to enviromental lawyers, to Ethanol manufactures…. its all about corporate money.

Yes, companies will find a way to capitalize on the opportunity but you cannot deny that glaciers are breaking off

  • Trey Garrison

    Oh good lord.

Jenny, it’s a cycle, it’s happened before…well before cars, hairspray, or plastic grocery bags. The current ethanol mania may cause a global food shortage, thus leading to unrest and famine.

Wow, wonder what caused all the glaciers to retreat into the Arctic all those 10,000 years ago. Cavemen must have had one helluva carbon footprint to have caused that. Where was Al Gore then?

  • El Rey

Not to mention the arctic ice shelf is bigger than ever after our record cold winter. By ever, I mean since we started keeping track of it in 1971.

New hysteria prediction: our actions on this planet are causing the planet to wobble on its axis! Yes, it is true the earth wobbles. The freaks will just read the first sentence and spread the gospel. The realists and scientists will say it is part of the planetary cycle.

Enviro-nutjobs need to reference the two articles below. You don’t even have the foresight to see the global catastrophy that you could be causing.

Jenny jenny jenny. global warming is the latest scam. 30 years ago it was global cooling. Climate temperature is cyclical. why do you think the Vikings called it Greenland? uh? could it be because it was lush and green, because it could support cattle and grain growing, but overtime the temperature changed. only thing was there were no cars, coal plants, natural gas plants, human population was way smaller than what it is now.

Maybe if you had studied Western Civ or at least paid attention you would know this.
