An alert FBvian points us to this blog, whereon it is revealed that Marty’s work for us has been the subject of a Sunday school class. I’m sure he’s flattered.

    Very proud. Oops! That’s one of the seven deadlies, too.

    I think our earnest friend Mr. Two Home Towns didn’t read my little trifles carefully enough; they’re about envy, silly boy, not greed. (And, to be clear, pedantry is not a sin.)

    While I was only reacting to your work in the context it was provided, that doesn’t let me off the hook. With the benefit of hindsight I completely agree - your work would be of much better use as a study of envy than greed. For that you can be even more proud. Greed ranks a lowly 5th on the scale of deadly sins, but envy? Well that’s second only to pride. Bravo!
