Late news from my neck of the woods.
My Uncle went to the precinct convention to caucus. He said there were at least 300 people. The precinct judge tried to pull a fast one, and say ‘let’s vote by voice vote’ instead of filling out the sheets. They almost ran him out of the room. He then got the bright idea to use the caucus record sheets, like normal people.
Plano Dems getting rowdy…gotta love it.

A report from an Austin caucus site:

I was there for that one and the Dem official first wanted to separate the room by precinct (we shared the space with 451), then by Obama supporters vs. Clinton supporters with a show of hands, instead of using sign in sheets because “we’ll be here all night.”
That idea garnered approval from about a fifth of the crowd until a few adamant attendees voiced that his means would derail proper protocol, was in violation of Constitutional rights, gave up anonymity in the vote, etc.
He tried still to defend his idea with a cumbersome explanation of selecting delegates and sending people from city to city, when a white-haired woman wearing a Hillary sticker said, she didn’t want to have waited so long and risk her vote not being counted. Her comment was met with cheers and applause and the signature sheets were finally dispersed.
