Re: Are Republicans Voting For Obama Or Clinton?

Here’s another take on the Republican strategery in Texas that mentions my own no-chance candidate. The takeaway — pro-McCain ‘pubs are voting for Hillary because they think she’s an easy target in November. Someone fetch me some Anacin Percocet.

Fortunately, these foolish votes are being cancelled out by the Repubs who are voting for Obama because they want to be done hearing about the Clintons for good.

Repubs can’t even agree on their strategery for this election!

I am a Republican cross over. I felt that voting against Lupe in the primary was easier to defeat her now, rather than in the fall when dems carry Dallas County. My vote for Hillary was for the same reason. I have sent money to McCain.

I’m an R x-over as well, voting for Hillary just to mess things up.

Quoting Obama: ‘It’s silly season.’ But Obama wil have the last laugh whether anyone had that in mind or not.

For intsnace, when I had friends who reluctantly voted for President Bush the second time, claiming they were “holding (their) nose”, Bush won and laid claim to his voter victory, pointing to his “political capital”. Candidates want votes and winning. We can all play OUR game, but that’s the only ‘game’ in their town.

I heard that Rush Limbaugh is encouraging Republicans to do just this sort of thing.

Beware: voting records show which primary you vote in. Down the road if you think you’re going to want to run for office some day, be ready to do some explaining to the voters.

Well so far that’s 2 Republican voters that have admitted 1) They’re scared of Obama and 2) They’ll do whatever it takes to keep a Republican in power. I’m sure the dudes that crafted “Family Values” and “Contract with America” and “Return to Moral Values” would be proud of you
