It’s times like these which restore my faith in the US.

RCP is a hot site. I thought it was my little secret. No more.

Also, after a given state has held their election RCP post the results right above their avg pol. For us politicos it’s cool stuff.

We all know that polls can be misleading…remember New Hampshire?

Here’s a place where you can see the trend line in dramatically graphic form:

El Rushbo said today that all good conservatives in Texas need to vote for Hillary in the primary. Since she only leads in the over 65 women who wear combat boots segment of the population, she needs all the help she can get. Watching the Democrats crucify each other in Denver at the convention could be awesome.

    Bill, put down the Hater-ade.

I am just wondering when the media or anyone else for that matter is going to start scutinizing and digging out dirt on Obama. So far he seems to have the “change for the sake of change” momentum, but how long will that last? They are allready starting with Mcain. Maybe stuff will come out in the regular election campaign………..

You can’t move a mountain without a shovel. Unfortunately for Obama (and maybe the country), the house & senate have all the shovels.

Wick. Please, I can’t take any more. Go back to being the ultraconservative, capitalism-at-any-cost Republican I depend on you to be.

I mean it! My world is upside down!

I’m going to take some Ambien now, and when I wake up I want to see some some of that good ole Democrat-bashing that I depend on to raise my bile and get me going in the morning.

I voted early, last week even. When I walked up to the workers sitting there four in a row we exchanged questions.

    Theirs, “democratic or republican?”

I mentioned that I knew some republicans would like a democratic ballot.

Mine, “are you seeing any young people voting this time?”

A seventy something lady smiled at me real big and pointed out the young lady with the died black hair, body piercings, tattoos, and obviously closer to twenty than twenty one who was replacing her at the table.

I’m sorry. I got the feelgoods. No. None of my kids or grandkids dress or look like that, at least in my presence. But when I looked at the young lady I saw someone whom I’m used to seeing refuse everything my generation allegedly believes as important for a good life. This young lady, even with her generation’s strongest statement in fashion and attitude, was embracing the best thing about mine.

I like feelgoods. When you’re closer to sixty than you are fifty nine the feelgoods aren’t as easily found as they used to be.

Has anyone seen Sean Wilentz article in TNR, posted today, about the Obama camp’s very extensive and thoroughly calculated use of the race card? Can we stop saying that Clintons dragged that ploy out from under the rug and try asking Obama the hard questions about this behavior or is he too holy? I ain’t drinkin the kool aid.
