The lead says it all: “The Dallas Stars are loading up for a run at the Stanley Cup.” As a casual, bandwagon fan who doesn’t pay attention to hockey until the playoffs start, I say: load up!

Smith has had some great games in goal this year, so it is a shame to see him go, but this will deepen the Stars offense.

i thought we’d have to lose a young D, so this has the makings of a great trade. If we don’t get bounced in the first round. And I say “we” but I mean “they”.
