And speaking of the Obama rally, the Startlegram says Secret Service stopped poking, prodding, frisking, and searching rally-goers a full hour before Barack spoke, and yet the world didn’t come to an end.

then how do you explain the massive line still at 1pm??? If Reunion was full, someone should have told everyone in line to go home.

They did tell everyone to go home, at just about 12:55. Before that, at around 12:30, the line started moving quickly, and by 12:50, we were pretty much running to get in. My group was just waved in without so much as a glance. Several of us wondered why it had taken so long to get there in the first place, since there was no security; now we know why. Thank goodness no one with bad intentions was in the line with us.

I think the message is we all need to stop being such scared little ninnies and buying the fear that government sells to protect their phony baloney jobs. That’s just my takeaway.
