Alas, the dorkdom departs the hallowed grounds of Wirt Davis Hall to reap the rewards higher education, family wealth and vast indifference for the common man. Rich and smart goes a long way in this world, but does little to curtail the permeation of dork associated with calling oneself a Marksman (unless your last name is Keller).

I really wish I could get hold of Mr. Adams’ “call” of the boxing match between Patrice Lamumba (1st Prime Minister of the Republic of Congo) and Prince Souvanna Phouma (Laotian Prime Minister). As I recall, the match ended when Lamumba literally knocked off Souvanna Phouma’s head, which then proceeded to roll about the ring. (Or maybe it was Lamumba’s head that came off.) Classic.
