Eric - plese refrain from giving them additional publicity and any traffic since you always place a link back to their site and give credit to whom it’s due. Give me a freaking break, people. It’s the Internet, take the help where you can get it!

Josh, Eric didn’t give WFAA credit, nor did he link to them. I thought it was a great Texas-wide view; and I was trying to figure out where that radar was coming from. It appeared like it was being hosted on Front Burner. Now I know it’s from WFAA… it’s my new favorite radar.

I agree, Eric should have posted credit, I think he normally does. But, you just proved my point. You now like the WFAA weather map (and will no doubt go there first the next time inclement weather is upon us) which you first saw when Eric posted it on FB.
Now, it appears that WFAA is, pardon the pun, out in the cold while channels 4 and 11 wisely take him up on his offer to display their weather maps. Maybe WFAA should’ve just asked Eric to add the credit, which I’m sure he would’ve done quickly and without complaint.

Well crap, I stand corrected, M.R. I just went back and did a search for Eric’s previous posts regarding weather and he has not been in the habit of giving credit or posting a link back to the site. Crow doesn’t taste as bad as I thought it would… kinda like chicken…

Josh, I was about to tell you to do the exact same thing! I counted 12 instances, not counting yesterday, where Eric posted radar images from WFAA with absolutely no credit.
So is it cool if I post Eric’s and Tim’s posts to my blog, using my name as the author?

It’s fine by me. Maybe three or four more people will read them on your blog and it will double the viewership. Good idea…
