Sign, Sign, Everywhere a Sign

The refurbished Stoneleigh sign was placed atop the hotel and spa on January 12th. It first graced our skies in 1938 and was declared a historic landmark in 1983. Now it’s a milestone in the hotel’s renovation, which is scheduled to be finished early this year. More important, you can hear the new song stuck in my head here. (Photo credit: Jake Dean)

Well, this cinches it — Trey is right: Dallas is a profoundly leftist den of communism. Not only do they take our money to spend on parks, roads, firefighters and schools — all of which should be private, for-profit endeavors — they attempt to impose aesthetic standards on a city that is already one of the world’s most stunningly beautiful.
