Bride’s Cake Takes the Cake

An eagle-eyed FrontBurnervian points our Web browsers in this general direction for a picture of the wedding cake of Allen’s Chidi Ogbuta. The i-Reporter (?) had her wedding cake made to look like … her. Kinda creepy, actually.

    So exactly how high with the knife did they go? Reminds me of a line from Steel Magnolias uttered over an armadillo cake that I won’t repeat.

    Aren’t you traditionally supposed to keep the top tier of the cake in your freezer til the first anniversary, then thaw it and eat it?

    Dude, there’s a HEAD in their freezer.

    If the caterer or whoever is cutting and serving the cake is Caucasian or of another race besides African-American, would police be called to investigate a hate crime??? Think there will be a rally afterwards?

    Hey Ben, lighten up. The story showed up on CNN two days ago. But golly, that’s one strange cake… it deserves to go in the “what NOT to do” category and repeated often! LOL!

    The post on NeighborsGo.com is basically an advertisement contributed by the person (Nikki J.) who made the cake. Woudln’t want to link to that, would we? Plus the story linked here on FB has actual wedding photos including the dress which makes it all the more better.

    And yes I said more better. I’m cool like that.
